Rectangular Steel Backboard (outdoor)

Official competition size backboard, 72” x 42”, is designed and fabricated to take rugged use and withstand severe weather conditions. Heavy, die formed 11 gauge steel face is provided with 1/4” diameter perforations to provide an open area to minimize wind resistance. Location of perforations also provides a solid outline for the official 3” wide perimeter and target area markings. Unitized rear support frame is constructed of rectangular steel sections with attachment holes on standard fan backboard mounting centers for installation on existing support structures with optional backboard mounting kits listed below. Formed face and structural rear frame are finished in a durable powder-coated finish before assembly. Backboard provides unmatched strength and durability. Specify No. 00324-672 (black)backboard pad.
